Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on August 20th 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and adorable characters. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings who grew up when she was a kid in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. The mid-1990s saw her begin professional dancing and performed at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to a regional theatre in Minnesota where she was cast in a documentary mock-up about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Following her successful screen debut, in which she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. The decade following she was in a variety of famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
